INGREDIENTS
Serves 4
8 pork sausages (if you don’t like pork sausages you can replace with any other flavoured sausage you like)
1 brown onion, peeled and sliced
2 cloves garlic
Pinch pepper
Sea salt
3 tablespoon Gravox
4 large potatoes, rinsed and peeled and cut in small cubes
70g butter

METHOD
Boil potatoes in salted water for 10-12 mins or when a knife inserted in the middle of the potato goes in easily with no resistance. Drain the potatoes making sure there is no residual water.
Using a potato masher, mash the potatoes to a smooth consistency. Season with salt and pepper and add the cream and butter making sure it's mixed through the potato. Set aside
To cook the sausages place a pan over high heat, cook the sausages for 8-12 minutes or until cooked through. Continue turning over throughout and set aside
Mix 3 tablespoon of the Gravox mix with 500ml water, making sure evenly mix with no lumps
In another pan caramelize onion medium heat for 1-2 mins then add garlic
Return the sausages to the pan and add the Gravox mix and simmer for 2-3 mins or until the gravy thickens
Serve the sausages and onion gravy over mash potatoes
